London-based singer-songwriter Sophie Jamieson has released a new single titled ‘Camera’, which serves as the second preview of her upcoming second album, “I still want to share”. The song comes with a visually stunning music video co-directed by Jamieson and Malena Zavala.
In a statement, Jamieson shared the inspiration behind the track, saying, “I wrote this song during a time when my heart was broken and I was trying to keep everything together even when it felt impossible. I wanted to neatly frame and define the pieces of my shattered heart, but deep down I knew that finding peace meant letting things remain blurry. It was a constant struggle between wanting clarity and accepting the complexity and elusiveness of love.”
‘I still want to share’ is scheduled to be released on January 17 through Bella Union. The album is preceded by the single ‘I don’t know what to save’. For more insights into Sophie Jamieson and her music, you can revisit our Artist Spotlight interview with her.
