Disney has unveiled the first image of the upcoming live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch, giving fans a glimpse of a new look for Stitch in the upcoming movie. The image was revealed during Disney’s D23 Brazil event.
The Lilo & Stitch movie is set to hit theaters in the United States on May 23, 2025.
“The story, set in Hawaii, follows the heartwarming bond between a lonely human girl named Lilo and a dog-like alien named Stitch, who was created to be a destructive force,” reads a synopsis of the plot, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. “With nosy social workers and relentless aliens on their trail, the two find solace in each other and ultimately triumph.”
