Exploring Parisian culture with singer Ayo and pianist Alain Roche

In the premiere episode of our new program Paris des arts, Valérie Fayolle from FRANCE 24 interviews Ayo. The Nigerian German singer-songwriter takes us on a journey through the National Navy Museum to discuss “Mami Wata”, her seventh acoustic album dedicated to the Nigerian goddess of the sea. Following that, we meet Alain Roche, the pianist who plays on a suspended piano, hanging from the sky. He shares his unique experience performing during the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics. Lastly, we introduce our new segment, “From Paris with Love”, where Valérie guides us through the must-see attractions in Toulouse, the capital of southwestern France.
