Dominique Trinquand discusses the connections between different worlds in humanity

If you consider the major axes of the world, the significant borderlines, you may think of migratory routes such as those through Africa into Europe, or through the Americas. You may also think of trade routes, like the Silk Road, or even the route into space. These axes of humanity and how they shape our geopolitics are all explored in a new book by one of FRANCE 24’s regular guests. General Dominique Trinquand led a battalion in Lebanon in the early 90s and in the former Yugoslavia, and has held various senior positions with NATO, the EU, and the UN, including former head of the French military mission to the UN. He discussed his book “D’un monde à l’autre” – or “From one World to Another” with us on Perspective.”
