Gwen Stefani, the lead singer of No Doubt and a highly successful solo artist, has been a prominent figure in pop culture for over 30 years. With the release of her new album Bouquet, she will be taking questions about her music and career.
Stefani made a name for herself by embracing reggae and ska-punk during the grunge era, standing out from the mainstream pop scene. Despite initial setbacks, No Doubt’s third album, Tragic Kingdom, became a massive success, propelled by the hit ballad Don’t Speak.
Following two more successful albums with No Doubt, including the diverse singles from Rock Steady, the band took a hiatus before reuniting for performances, including a recent appearance at Coachella festival.
Stefani also ventured into a solo career, collaborating with artists like the Neptunes, André 3000, and Linda Perry on her debut album Love Angel Music Baby. Her unique style, influenced by Marie Antoinette and kawaii aesthetics, set her apart in the pop world. Despite releasing three more solo albums and a Christmas album in 2017, Stefani took a break to focus on parenting her three sons.
Now, she is gearing up to release Bouquet, an album inspired by yacht rock and featuring a duet with her husband, country singer Blake Shelton. Ahead of the album’s release, Stefani will be answering questions from fans. Submit your questions below by 4pm GMT on 7 November, and her responses will be published on 15 November, the day Bouquet comes out.
