Alice Phoebe Lou Reveals Fresh Track ‘Better’

Alice Phoebe Lou has recently released a new single titled ‘Better’. The song, which comes after ‘The World Above’ in July, was recorded at Cedar Creek Studio in Austin, Texas while on tour with Clairo. It features David Parry on guitar, Dekel Adin on bass and percussion, and Ziv Yamin on drums and piano. You can listen to it below.

“I wrote this song in one sitting on my childhood piano at my mother’s house,” Lou explained in a statement. “I delved into my imagination and drew from past experiences of how I used to idealize someone when I first met them, envisioning an unrealistic future and turning a blind eye to their flaws. Placing someone on a pedestal only makes the inevitable fall back to reality even more harsh, when you realize that everything you’ve projected onto them is unattainable and they can never live up to that.”
