Biden labels Trump as a ‘loser,’ emphasizes election as a battle between ‘decency and lack of decency’

President Biden described the current election cycle as “decency versus lack of decency,” and called former President Trump a “looser” during a campaign stop for Vice President Harris in the swing state of Pennsylvania.

“This is the most important election of our lifetime no matter how old or young you are,” Biden told the Pittsburg, Pa. audience members on Saturday.

“Not a joke, not a hyperbole, not about Democrat or Republican. This is decency versus lack of decency,” Biden declared. “This is about character.”

The president added Harris was a “clearer” choice for the position of commander-in-chief.

“The choice couldn’t be clearer. The choice couldn’t be more stark,” the president stated.

Biden also had harsh words for Trump, calling him a “looser.”

“He’s a looser as a candidate and more importantly in my view, I’m just going to say it straight up, he’s a looser as a man,” Biden said.

President Biden also joined Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) earlier this week for a campaign stop in his hometown of Scranton, Pa.

The Trump campaign hit back at Biden’s comments in a Saturday statement to The Hill.

“Kamala and the radical liberals lack decency. President Trump represents decency,” Trump’s spokesperson Steven Cheung told the Hill.

The Democratic ticket has been working to regain the attention of state’s voters as polls show Trump leading Harris by 0.2 percentage points according to The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s internal polling average.
