STEM Careers Coalition Engages with More than 10.7 Million Students

The STEM Careers Coalition, based in Charlotte, NC, has exceeded its goal of reaching 10 million students by the end of 2025, ahead of schedule. Since its inception in 2019, the Coalition has reached over 10.7 million students, with 2.97 million in the 2023-2024 school year alone, with 65% from Title I schools.

Student STEM education is crucial, as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts a 23% growth in STEM jobs by 2030. The STEM Careers Coalition aims to provide all K-12 students and educators in the United States with high-quality career resources, equitable access to essential resources, employee engagement activities, and research.

The Coalition supports diverse career awareness and exposure, preparing students for future STEM jobs by providing classroom resources, career exploration tools, after-school activities, and digital content. The Coalition boasts a wide network of partners from various industries.

New resources aligned with learning standards are frequently provided to students and educators by the STEM Careers Coalition. The Mission Possible Virtual Field Trip: Re-powering the Future will premiere on November 21, 2024. Additionally, 14 new career bundles introduce students to careers such as senior data scientist, gnotobiotics training coordinator, fire protection design manager, chemical engineer, and more.
