In a statement, Infrared president Drew Simon described Painter as a seminal action hero film, comparing Midthunder’s character to this generation’s Sarah Connor from Terminator. The high-octane script by Derek Kolstad and the direction of Garrett Warren are expected to elevate the film into an exciting new franchise in the action genre.
The plot of Painter follows a young woman on a mission to rescue her kidnapped father.
