Deadline has reported that a Carrie TV show is currently in development at Amazon, with Mike Flanagan at the helm. Details about the series are scarce at this point, but Flanagan is set to be an executive producer on the project, alongside Trevor Macy. There is also a possibility that Flanagan will be writing the script for the series.
Flanagan is a well-known figure in the world of horror, having created, written, and served as showrunner on several Netflix horror series. Some of his notable works include The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, The Midnight Club, and The Fall of the House of Usher.
