2025 Heating Installer Awards: Seeking the Top Talent in the North West

The competition, now in its 10th year, aims to celebrate exceptional heating installers whose work often goes unnoticed.

Previous winners from the North West, including Nick Irlam and Phillip Metcalf from Lancaster, David Thompson from Wigan, Andrew Beatty from Cumbria, Dennis Hollingworth from Stockport, and Paul Clark from the Wirral, have all enjoyed increased business visibility, new clientele, and networking opportunities with industry experts.

Winners are not just recognized for their installation skills but also for their “commitment to customer service and product excellence”.

The North West award winners will gain promotion and the chance to network with influential businesses.

After the February 2025 entry deadline, a panel of industry experts, professional bodies, and trusted installers will evaluate the submissions.

The judging criteria include project outcome, problem-solving abilities, product knowledge, customer service, and technical skills.

Regional winners will be announced in April 2025 and will then compete for the national title at the Birmingham NEC in June.

The awards also acknowledge specialist installers in various categories, such as Sustainability, HVAC, and Rising Stars, which focuses on apprentices and learners.

Supported by The IPG, Polypipe Building Products, Powered Now, Samsung Climate Solutions, Stelrad, CIPHE, and Refresh, the awards are free to enter.

They provide a platform for heating installers to present a project that highlights not only results but also customer service and technical prowess to potential customers.

This year, in honor of the awards’ 10th anniversary, new features have been added to the Heating Installer Awards calendar, promising an even more exciting experience with further announcements to come.
