Margaret Qualley has been chosen to star in an upcoming horror film called Victorian Psycho. Set to begin filming in March 2025, the movie will take place in 1858 and will center around Qualley’s character Winifred Notty, who is tasked with educating children in a secluded gothic manor.
Director Zachary Wigon will be at the helm, working from a script by Virginia Feito that is based on Feito’s soon-to-be-released novel of the same name.
Victorian Psycho will tell the story of a quirky young governess named Winifred Notty (played by Qualley) who arrives at the isolated gothic manor Ensor House. In her role, Winifred must teach the children proper etiquette and educate them on their family’s history, all while concealing her own psychopathic tendencies. However, as Winifred settles into life at Ensor House, members of the staff mysteriously vanish, leading the estate’s owners to question the true nature of their new governess.
