Hovvdy has recently announced the upcoming release of a new EP titled Live From Julie’s, which will feature reimagined versions of songs from their self-titled double album. The EP includes tracks such as ‘Bubba (Julie’s Version)’ and ‘Jean (Julie’s Version)’, the latter of which was previously released. Fans can listen to ‘Bubba (Julie’s Version)’ now.
The duo shared their thoughts on the upcoming release, stating, “Sonically, this is the most vulnerable we’ve ever been. When we create music, we often aim to build a complex, layered world; while we love this approach, it can sometimes lead us astray. With Live at Julie’s, we wanted to strip everything back and simply sit down to play the songs together.”
