Get a Sneak Peek at Netflix Film Centered on Mary, Mother of Jesus – OutLoud! Culture

Netflix has unveiled a sneak peek of its upcoming biblical film, Mary, which delves into the story of Mary’s journey into hiding after the birth of Jesus. The movie features Noa Cohen in the lead role, alongside Ido Tako, Stephanie Nur, Susan Brown, Ori Pfeffer, Eamon Farren, Hilla Vidor, Mili Avital, Gudmundur Thorvaldsson, Dudley O’Shaughnessy, Keren Tzur, Mehmet Kurtulus, Mila Harris, and Anthony Hopkins.

Netflix has also announced that Mary is set to premiere on December 6, 2024, exclusively on the streaming platform.

“Through Mary’s perspective, this coming-of-age biblical epic narrates the story of one of history’s most significant figures and the extraordinary journey that led to the birth of Jesus,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “Mary (Noa Cohen), chosen to bring the Messiah into the world, faces rejection after a miraculous conception and is compelled to go into hiding. With King Herod (Anthony Hopkins) ordering a brutal search for her newborn child, Mary and Joseph (Ido Tako) embark on a desperate escape – united by faith and driven by bravery – to safeguard his life at any cost.
