Amid the growing demand for both residential and commercial properties, real estate major DLF Ltd has rolled out a slew of new projects, as part of which, it will launch around 35 million square feet area in medium term. The sales potential of these projects is said to be around Rs 40,000 crore.
The company mentioned that almost 8 million square feet will be launched during the second half of the current fiscal. A 35 million square feet of new products is planned in the midterm for scaling up its business. The projects will be strategically launched across established locations with robust infrastructure in place.
In an analyst presentation, DLF stated, “Diversified Offerings: Quality products across multiple categories catering different target segments and a multiple locations.”
As per the launch calendar, out of the planned 35 million sq. ft. in the medium term, around 2 million square feet has already been launched till September this year. In the second half of the current fiscal, DLF is planning to launch 7.7 million square feet of projects.
The company is currently developing an 8 million square feet project in Delhi, as part of a joint venture. Around 2 million square feet of the project is slated to launch by March next year. In addition to this, DLF has also identified 10 million square feet of premium/luxury housing for launches with a sales potential of Rs 10,000 – 10,500 crore. It plans to launch 9 million square feet of value homes in Gurugram, Chennai and Chandigarh area as well for sales value of Rs 4,500 crore.
Recently, DLF reported a 66 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at a whopping Rs 378.12 crore for the quarter ended September. However, its total income declined to around Rs 1,556.53 crore in the second quarter of the current fiscal.
