Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna is not unknown today. The Union Governments aims to cater the housing need of people across the nation and ‘Housing for All by 2022’, is a step towards fulfilling that wish. Land developers are looking at this initiative as a huge opportunity for their business, which they want to seize.
Gurgaon, NCR-based Dhoot Developer is optimistic about the ‘Housing For All by 2022’, as the construction of 2 crores houses in approaching 7 years seems quite a big deal. The poor people and the ones living under Economically Weaker Section and LIG categories in urban regions across the country, would be the main beneficiaries of this scheme.
Pawan Kumar Dhoot finds this three-phase initiative, a need of the hour which will benefit the society on a huge scale. The first phase started in the April 2015 and will go till March 2017. Almost 100 cities will undergo developmental work under phase one.
Pawan Kumar Dhoot talks about the second phase with more hopes, which will start in April 2017 and will go on till March 2019. Other 200 cities would be developed under phase two. Subsequently, phase three will start in April 2019, which will end in March 2022, scheduled timeline of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna.
The Chairman of Dhoot Infrastructure also highlighted the Banks’ rapid loan sanction procedure, due to which 1,200 people of 21 states were granted the housing loan of more than Rs. 70 crores in total. Housing loans worth 2.26 crores were sanctioned to the people residing in the National Capital- Delhi only. Pawan Kumar Dhoot is looking forward to be a part of such initiative, whenever they are introduced by the Government.
